KASA - Membership Payments

KASA membership is open to companies, organizations, and professionals involved in automotive security, including vehicle tracking, alarm systems, immobilizers, fleet management, and related technologies.

KASA members will benefit in the following ways;

1. The KASA secretariat will provide comfort to stakeholders and act as a uniform communication point for all KASA members.
2. Have a conflict resolution mechanism for any issues that may arise.
3. Lobby for structural licenses from the regulator.
4. Lobby the Communication Authority of Kenya to do the following: -
   • Assist in clarifying and regulating car tracking products/devices to cover the quality and streamline the importation process.
   • Assist in engaging and working in conjunction with other stakeholders, like the police service and the border customs office.
   • Guarantee in quality assurance by enhancing engagement modality with GSM and IoT service providers.
   • Assist in the accreditation of garages and create a friendly environment by regulating garages.
   • To ensure that the tracking devices are installed by registered technical personnel.
   • To license the fitment installers.

You will need to submit a Duly Filled Membership Application Form, your Company Registration Documents (Certificate of Incorporation, Business Permit, etc.), company profile, and contact details, Tax Compliance Certificate, and ID card for directors. 

Additional documents may be requested during the vetting process.

An organization shall be eligible for membership in the association and shall, subject to the approval of the committee, become a member on payment of a non-refundable entrance fee of Ksh. 50,000/=.

Every member shall pay a non-refundable annual subscription of Ksh 24,000/=

Membership fees are due each year and must be paid upon approval of your application and at the start of every new calendar year.

Typically, the vetting and approval process takes between 1–2 weeks, depending on the completeness of the submitted documents.

You will receive an official notification via email from the Secretariat confirming your acceptance and welcoming you to the association.

Currently, membership is primarily open to companies and registered organizations. However, we consider special cases for professionals who are actively contributing to the automotive security industry.

Yes. We also welcome startups and smaller industry players.

Upon approval, you will receive a welcome package with important documents and information. You will also be added to our mailing list and members’ directory, and introduced to upcoming events and opportunities.

Members are expected to adhere to the association’s code of conduct, pay annual dues on time, participate in association activities, and uphold industry standards.

Membership is renewed annually upon payment of the subscription fee. Reminders are sent in advance each year.

Any member who falls into arrears with his subscription for more than six months shall automatically cease to be a member of the Association, and his name shall be struck off the register of members. The committee may, however, at its discretion, reinstate such a member on payment of the total amount of subscription outstanding or otherwise stated.

Yes. Any member wishing to leave the association must submit their withdrawal letter to the secretary, which will take effect upon the secretary's receipt of notice. However, all outstanding dues must be paid before leaving.
